:Description

The role is part of the senior management team, as a Director you are expected to plan and execute your projects and activities independently while managing and guiding your team to achieve your department’s goals agreed with management. The director of telco services is responsible for defining mobile packages and tariffs, bundles, and other value propositions with mobile connectivity at its core. The candidate brings a solid experience in defining mobile tariffs, packages, bundles, and services tailored for different customer segments.

:Further Responsibilities

  • Shapes the role and enhance it as per scope of work and annual target agreed with senior management and peers as part of the whole business objectives and programs
  • Structures the department and builds a team capable of driving the mission jointly, creates a positive and agile working environment in line with the overall TeenTaak working ethic and style
  • Fosters an environment of teamwork and understands the importance of working in teams, actively contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Acts as entrepreneur within the organization and drives revenue generation for the product line
  • Agrees to KPIs and defines activities to achieve them for the whole team, breaks down department targets and KPIs to individual level
  • Understands trends, customers’ needs and desires by specifying the research needed
  • Prepares return-on-investment analyses for products, determines scope of products and product roadmap
  • Defines product specifications and requirements, designs tariffs / product pricing and bundles, evaluates new product ideas and / or products or packaging changes according customer needs
  • Defines time schedules in close alignment with the telco infrastructure and OTT/Ecosystem teams for introduction of new products, and develops integrated plans with sales and advertising / product marketing
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company’s product to competitors’ products
  • Works in close alignment with Director of Sales and Distribution to develop product sales strategies and promotions
  • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and costs, and special reports and analyses

Qualifications

  • More than 8 years of experience in the field of mobile communication including product management and proven leadership record
  • Understanding customer needs and knows how to specify research
  • Brings experience in product strategy and development, requirements analysis and documentation, pricing, competitive analysis, sales planning, and financial planning
  • A bachelor degree in engineering with a complementary master degree in business is an advantage
  • A team player and collaborator who understands the value of a team flow company wide, builds trust as a key tool for reliability and efficiency in carrying on tasks
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to structure and write management reports
  • A high level of energy and capacity to motivate teams
  • Advanced English language skills
